Finally, you can get rid of that underpowered 2.8L i6 or smoky, temperamental 4.4L V8. Yeah, when they were new/newer, they did their thing. But let's face: 190HP in a 2-ton car is definitely not enough....especially when you have much smaller cars running over you with more power (Honda Accord/Civic, etc.)! Sink your teeth into the best of both worlds! German engineering with excellent road performance (let's face it, BMW definitely has the Ultimate Driving Machine in the older Bimmers locked down when it comes to hugging the road), and the reliability, flexibility and amazing sound of an LS V8! You now can make an E39 or even E60 M5 killer with your machine....all you need to do is drop in your LS, cam, exhaust, headers, wire it up and a tune and bam! You potentially are well into the 500HP range! If that is not enough, you can always supercharge it or turbo for some no-nonsense German butt kicking!
This LSx swap kit is designed for use with the LS series of motors (LS1-LS9) and the T-56/4L60E transmission. This kit requires no modifications to the factory cross member or subframe and does not hang below the crossmember when installed. You may need to change your oil pan.
