This kit will convert your 1998 and up 4L60E transmission to a factory mechanical speedometer and still have a functional VSS capability. This is a simple 30 minute bolt-on installation.
The conversion kit includes: machined billet adapter that mounts to the 6-bolt stock transmission allowing the standard 4-bolt tail housing to bolt upright. It includes a new mechanical speedometer sleeve with a new gear, and a reluctor/drive gear bushing assembly. This gear assemble drives the mechanical speedo and operates the VSS sensor.
Tail housing options include standard mount (as shown) or no mount.
Note: You must include your rear axle gear ratio and tire diameter with your order for us to determine the correct speedo gears!
