New Sure-fit crossmember. This is our new Sure-Fit crossmember system for the 1967-81 F-Bodies. Our new crossmember works with every transmission we’ve test fit, including 4L60E (including 4L65E & 4L70E), 4L80E, 6L80E, 6L90E, Powerglide, TH200, TH350, TH400, 700R4, Muncie 4-speed, TKO 600, T-56 and TR-6060 (including LSA High-Torque model). To our customers this means if you decide to change the atransmission during the build or after completion you will have the correct transmission crossmember. For our dealers/installers this means you will have two part numbers on the shelf for that carline, no matter what transmission your customer wants to use. We are developing this type of crossmember for for G-Bodies, 1955-57 Chevy and S-10s.
