    These RAM Force 10.5 twin-plate clutch kits have a strap-driven assembly that quietly transmits in excess of 950 ft.-lbs of torque. They are available with your choice of a 300 Series steel-backed friction disc or a 900 Series sintered iron disc. The kits use a marcel spring--a thin, wavy device that helps to eliminate the go-or-no-go tendency that similar dual disc clutches have. RAM Force 10.5 twin-plate clutch kits include a billet aluminum, SFI-certified flywheel with a steel insert that has sufficient mass to draw heat away from the clutch without distortion. 10.5 dual disc organic, GM LS applications 1997-2011 1-1/8, 26 spline, 168 tooth. Manufactured from premium 1/4" steel, Lakewood Bellhousings utilize hydroforming. This hydraulic forming process minimizes the thinning of the bellhousing's material while maintaining proper thickness in critical areas. Units are stress relieved after forming for even greater strength and then finished with a safety red enamel.

Tested to meet or exceed SFI Specification 6.1W when used with an approved block plate, Lakewood Steel Bellhousings are designed to contain a clutch or flywheel explosion with possible deformation or elongation of the housing. All bellhousings include the block plate and an SFI Spec 6.1W serial number.

Powergrip HD is a true street/strip competition clutch that can survive spirited street driving and roaring race weekends. The main difference between the HD and standard Powergrip is disc surface; both HD friction surfaces are sintered iron. Sintered iron provides enough slippage on launch to prevent the violent, uncontrollable engagement characteristics of metallic paddle-type discs.

Such firm, consistent engagement is easy to control yet expect some chatter from street applications with rear gearing under 3.73. The 8-spring hub features RAM poly-coil damper springs encased in polyurethane for greater load capacity and extended hub life. Units can handle three times the shock load of just the coil spring (standard in all RAM Competition Discs). Kit include disc, pressure plate, alignment tool, and release bearing.

The sintered iron disc is only to be used with low pressure Soft Lok assembly, or in multi disc applications such as our truck pulling unit. This solid hub disc is available in high or low coeffecient of friction lining. This section is dedicated to the low coeffecient of friction 5191 compound or (LCF). Not for street use.
