These RAM HDX clutch kits are ideal for street/strip applications. They produce 30-60 percent more clamping pressure over stock and can handle power up to 450 hp. HDX clutches feature ductile iron, explosion-resistant pressure rings that meet SFI certifications for use in competition. The HDX disc provides the smooth engagement necessary for maximum performance and drivability on the street with no chatter on takeoff. Most clutch discs utilize an 8-sprung hub with an upgraded organic friction material. The flywheel must be resurfaced or replaced prior to installation to validate the warranty.
